We encourage all of our pilots to become as productive and focused as possible. Because of our belief in valuing not only the whole, but the individual, we have developed a system in which any pilot can create their own personal P.O.S. (Player Owned Station). This P.O.S. would be exclusively yours to setup any way you wish. Please look at the guidelines within the P.E.A. act to make sure you are acting within The Plexus Syndicate's policies.To acquire a P.O.S. within The Plexus Syndicate one must acquire what is known as a P.E.A. License. Below is a step by step explanation of how to acquire your own personal P.O.S.


I. You must be a member of The Plexus Syndicate or a corporate member of The Order of New Eden.

II. Prepare a business plan.
 a. The business plan must state how you intend to generate income with your P.O.S.
   i. Please note that plans that are general will be denied.
   ii. List as many details about your plan/project as possible.
   iii. We will not accept the following business plans that contain these statements:
      "This POS will make money by being a monument to my greatness."
      "I know that I can somehow make money from a POS... I mean how hard could it be?"
      "I will make it a Research/Science Facility. By the way how can I make money in this field?"
      "I will make it a Moon Mining Facility. By the way how do you moon mine?"
      "I will make it a Reaction/Mixing station. What in the hell do you do with these materials anyway?"
  b. The more detailed you are on every aspect of you generating a profit through your POS the better your chances for approval.
   i. Basically, you must know the details of the business you intend to go into. Duh.
  c. The business plan must state the system(s) you wish to occupy as well as possible threats.
   i. The Plexus Syndicate does not have an 8.0 faction standing, your P.O.S. must be located in low sec (0.4 or lower)
   ii. Yes this actually does mean you have to know the area you wish to occupy.
  d. The business plan must state the password for your personal P.O.S. shield.
   i. Any changes to this password must be kept up to date and sent via evemail to Alsandair Thraushtin.
   ii. Any violations of this will impose a $20 million isk fine or expulsion if necessary.
  e. The business plan must state all initial expenses in an itemized listed format.
   i. Expenses include but are not limited to:
    * Structures
    * 2 months supply of fuel (required you figure in 2 months into your expensed list)
    * 10% Installment Fee (explained in section III)
  f. There will be a section in the general forums area labeled P.E.A. This is where you post your business plans for review.
   i. Please inform Alsandair Thraushtin that your business plan is ready and he will create a folder with your name on it in the P.E.A. forum.
   ii. This information will be kept confidential by limiting access to Government Officials.
   iii. Setting up this private folder may take 12-36 hours maximum to setup. You will be notified via corp chat or evemail when it is ready.

III. Funding & Isk Protocols
  a. There is to be a 10% Installment Fee figured into your itemized expense list.
   i. This fee is figured in as a taxed calculation.
   ii. The fee should be 10% of your total itemized expense list.
  b. If P.E.A. approval is given, you are required to send a 10% Installment Fee to Alsandair Thraushtin 1 week after acceptance.
   i. If funding is not received in one week's time, your approval into P.E.A. will be reversed. A new business plan must wait 90 days.
  c. For those who do not have the isk to support your business plan, please note you are able to request a loan through Plexus Bank.
   i. If you are requesting a loan through the bank for funding, please note this in your business plan.
   ii. State the amount you are requesting from Plexus Bank.

IV. Loans through Plexus Bank (The Bank of The Order of New Eden)
  a. Terms of loans is as follows per Plexus Bank:
   i. Loan caps are currently set at $1,500,000,000.00 isk.
   ii. Interest on loans are 10%, unless you have previously taken on a loan with Plexus Bank, which means your interest rate is lowered.
   iii. Loan duration is not to exceed 45 days. Any late payments are charged a late fee of 2.5% every 14 days on remaining balance.
   iv. Partial payments must be made every week to show active repayment of the loan issued.
  b. If acceptance into P.E.A. is dependant upon a loan from Plexus Bank, both Alsandair Thraushtin and Plexus Bank (Professor Fontain) must agree to approve the pilot into P.E.A.
  c. If at anytime after 60 days there is any outstanding balance with Plexus Bank, Plexus Bank has the right to foreclose on your property and a repo team will be sent out for collections.
   i. This means bye bye P.O.S. for those of you not aware of what a foreclosure is.
   ii. You will still be responsible for the amount remaining on the loan and indebted under the stipulations of the loan even after foreclosure.
  iii. Alsandair Thraushtin will have the right to expel you from The Plexus Syndicate if you fail to pay the loan to Plexus Bank, as your debt now becomes The Plexus Syndicates debt.

V. Liability and Responsibilities of P.E.A. member
  a. By taking on this endeavor the P.E.A. member agrees to the fact that they take sole responsability for their P.O.S.(s).
  b. The Plexus Syndicate nor any of it's members are responsible for anything that happens to your P.O.S.(s) at any time.
   i. I would like to note that the success of our P.E.A. members P.O.S. installations are in direct relation to the success of the whole.
  c. The Plexus Syndicate is not responsible, nor any of its members responsible in any shape, way, form, or fashion for your P.O.S.
  d. Soldiers of the United Defense Force (U.D.F.), a military extension of the Plexus Syndicate, are required, within reason, to respond to any distress call from P.E.A. members when under attack.
  e. All income generated from your personal P.O.S. must be included into your 30% tax on profit and must be sent to Plexus Tax on the 1st of each month.
   ii. Portions of profits will be used to pay Plexus Syndicate pilot salaries in the U.D.F., Government positions, and dividends to shareholders of The Bank of The Order of New Eden.
  iii. If after two consecutive months your 30% tax on profits have not been transferred to Plexus Tax, for the direct benefit of The Plexus Syndicate and its pilots, The Plexus Syndicate has the right to foreclose your property.
  f. In times of war all above provisions remain in effect.
  g. In times of war the U.D.F. has rights to use your P.O.S. as a defensive structure.
   i. You will be notified by a director or U.D.F. commander that your P.O.S.(s) have been occupied.
   ii. You will be given an approximation as to the duration of occupation.
   iii. The members are not to be interfering with your operations in any fashion. If a P.E.A. member is in any way shape or fashion mistreated, a victim of theft, a court hearing will take place.
   iv. If there is a sufficient enough case made by the plantif against the defendant, expulsion or fine will be imposed.
   v. It is your responsibility to make sure that the password you have given on your P.E.A. business application is still the same.
 h. The Plexus Syndicate will, at time and duration of occupation, be liable for all expenses to your P.O.S.(s) should something befall rendering your goods or structures lost.
 i. All P.O.S. structures are to be anchored personally by the pilot who has obtained the P.E.A. license. You may name the P.O.S. whatever you wish.
  i. When anchoring your POS the game mechanics make it that it has to be anchored for the corporation. I have found a way to make them absolutely personal for you and your employees and have written a guide on how to do so.
  ii. This guide will be given to you once your PEA license has been approved and received via eve-mail.
